Moyer Design™ Stretcher System.

So, on top of that,
WE IMPROVED IT!

Designed by Susan Louise Moyer, this easy-to-use fabric stretching system automatically adjusts the tension of the wet fabric as you paint, eliminating the need to restretch work-in-progress… removing the hassles of push pins, tacks, and sagging silk. Fine rust proof fabric hooks and elastic cord keep the fabric suspended away from the frame and the work surface. This unique patented stretching system and its sturdy wooden frame make this equipment ideal for painting yardage and pre-hemmed silk scarves. All parts are interchangeable to create a variety of stretcher sizes. It’s built to last!

1. SMALL SQUARE MODEL $105
Accomodates fabrics up to 20 x 20” A convenient size for the new student and others who may want to do small pieces for quilts, pillows and DyeColor™ painting on silk. Once you are hooked on silk painting you can always add to your system.

2. DOUBLE SQUARE SET $200
accommodates fabrics and scarves up to 46 x 46” or two 20 x 20”, ($10.00 savings)

3. RECTANGULAR MODEL $189
accommodates fabrics and scarves up to 20 x 77” or a square up to 36 x 36”.

4. BASIC COMBO SET $240
This set is for the student taking Susan’s workshop or a person who wants multiple stretching options at an affordable price. A few examples of fabrics and scarves that the Basic Combo Set will accommodate are:

One configuration at a time of 46 x 77” or 20 x 60” or 55 x 55” or 46 x 46”
or Two configurations at a time of 36 x 36” and 20 x 20” or two of 20 x 36”

6. PROFESSIONAL COMBO SET $355
consists of the Double Square Set and the Rectangular Unit plus two-extension foot/braces, a $375 value for $355 ($20.00 savings) This set is our most convenient and versatile option. It provides enough parts to accommodate the most configurations and it provides the longest and widest options. For example, both the Rectangle & Square Units together will stretch up to 46 x 126”.

7. VERSATILE EXTENSION SET WITH BRACES $125
Adding an additional 44” extension to the Basic Combo Set will accomodate 3 1/3 yards. Added to the Professional Combo Set will accomodate 4 3/4 yards. All parts, including the stabilizer brace, are completely interchangeable and can be used as stretcher bars. The width is also adjustable so that you can easily stretch narrow to wide fabric panels. You can keep adding and adding if you have room.

 *The frame can be completely disassembled for storage. Adjustable legs, easily slip on and off, can be placed most anywhere on the frame, enabling the frame to be supported on a surface that is smaller than the frame itself. Remove the legs to lay the frame on a flat surface for tracing, drawing, stamping, or screen printing designs.
